Scholz AG harmonizes economy and ecology. The Group’s products and services create competitive advantages for the customers while relieving the strain on the environment at the same time. The processing methods used provide the basis for this. Partly developed by Scholz AG itself, these methods are frequently considered the benchmark for an optimal recycling of steel scrap and non-ferrous metal scrap. With a material recycling rate of nearly 100 percent and very low-emission processes, they provide extraordinarily pure raw materials. Thanks to these methods, Scholz AG was able to prevent the emission of approximately 15 million metric tons of CO2 in 2008, which would have been generated had the recycled material been obtained from primary raw materials instead of scrap. It is an impressive accomplishment that Scholz AG achieves entirely with its own companies.
